In the latest update (available via the updater), I have tagged it as version 1.0.0.0 and have released the complete source code.
I also will compile a new installer package soon that includes the source code and post it as the final downloadable version.
I apologize for not being able to continue lately with updates/big fixes/etc, but I seem to be neck deep in other things (like life).
Hopefully someone might be able to step up and take over development, if not, through the source code, users can make their own custom tweaks and hopefully post bug fixes.
GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

Bob,
You have made an awesome app! I hope that even if you don't have time to develop much, that you can still hang out in here once in a while.
If anyone wants, I can put this on a CVS server which also has Web access. Just lemme know. It makes much more sense than to have a bunch of different hacks/versions out there.

Bob,
Thanks your for all your hard work & time for a great app that has helped myself & others make better use of their replay's, and I agree with Ryan, that even if the development time is very slim, that you can take the time every now & then to make an appearance. |

Bob,
I want to add my thanks for your hard work and effort with IVSm. It is a large part of the reason that I am holding on to my ReplayTVs.
Best of luck!

Bob,
Dittos to everything everyone else has said. It's an awesome app!
Being the parent of two small children, I completely understand how life and other priorities can come before something like this. You are making the right choice! I am sure others will carry on where you left off!
Thanks for all your work!

You should make this thread a sticky so that it will stay at the top for people to know about finding the source code.
Thanks for everything, Bob, and best of luck to you!

For starters, this guy's walkthrough/tutorial for setting-up a development environment is great...
Go to Edward Tangauy's web page, www_tanguay_info/web/, and look for the following tutorial:
"Install a PHP Development Environment with Eclipse PDT, Apache 2.2, PHP 5, MySQL 5, and phpMyAdmin Using XAMPP Lite "

Ryan:
You do know that the permissions are wrong on the CVS repository and no one can check out IVSM via the CVS?
Here's a description of the problem and how to fix it. _________________

I have IVSMagic checked out from Ryan's CVS repository with no problems. I just tried refreshing my files and had no problem accessing them on Ryan's repository. I suggest if you want to contact Ryan that you send him a PM...

Thanks Henry. I'll admit I'm not that familiar with cvs on windows and I probably have something screwed on my end but I was able to check out other projects. It doesn't matter anyway, I found a zip file of the source I had saved anyway so I'm good. I guess at some point I'd like to get cvs working but it's surely low priority. I'm not making changes that anyone else would want anyway.

I would definitely PM Ryan about it, then, because I'm using the same info for the other projects as I am for IVSMagic. Just make sure that you have exactly the same information on your IVSMagic project as the others. I use WinCvs for Windows, and it does a nice job of keeping info per project and allowing you to choose the login information from a pulldown (although, you still have to enter the password). So, double check that you have the exact same info on your IVSMagic project as the others...

Bob,
When I try to download either a tarball or a zip archive, I get the following error:
Error: Export failure (exit status 1), output:
cvs export: failed to create lock directory for `/var/cvs2/CVSROOT' (/var/cvs2/CVSROOT/#cvs.history.lock): Permission denied
cvs export: failed to create lock directory for `/var/cvs2/IVSMagic' (/var/cvs2/IVSMagic/#cvs.lock): Permission denied
cvs export: failed to obtain dir lock in repository `/var/cvs2/IVSMagic'
cvs [export aborted]: read lock failed - giving up
Thanks,
